Talley Riggins provided construction management services both demo and new construction on First McKinney’s campus. New construction included a new Community Lobby connecting the existing adjacent buildings, with a new Youth Building to the south. The new community lobby includes new glazed entries, proposed east clerestory, and exposed structural wood deck and steel framing. It also includes an interior and exterior coffee bar, new restrooms and connection to adjacent exterior landscape areas. The new Youth Building includes exposed structure, exterior and interior glazing systems with two multipurpose spaces and connection to community lawn space. A new accessible “Senior” Entry adjacent to the west drop off was constructed after the removal of the existing Youth Building. All construction took place while keeping the campus fully operational.
