Parker Ernst is a recent graduate from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s in Construction Science. He was inspired to get into construction by his grandfather, who remodeled homes. Parker completed an internship with Talley Riggins last summer and recently started full time after his graduation.
During his internship, he worked on the Metrocrest BTS Headquarters in Carrollton, TX. Today, he is wrapping up the same project.
“It’s rewarding to start full time after my internship,” Parker said. “You come out to the jobsite during your internship and get to know everyone; it’s a familiar feeling. You get to use the skills you learned during your internship full-time.”
Talley Riggins’ culture inspired Parker to return upon graduation.
“I enjoy the people and the community,” Parker said. “They make me feel like family. I enjoy waking up and going to work every day. It’s a place I love coming to. I wouldn’t change it for the world.”
